This is me sandblasting glass. I taught myself to do this while I was in art school because I thought it would be a way to pay for my studies. I use a breathing compressor and a lot of equipment that causes me problems as I am not very handy outside of making art. Everyone who I approached as a kid to learn this art slammed the door on my face so I vowed to become the best. It took me 15 years to learn to make a face in glass that is a real likeness of my model or subject.. I hate the actual process because it is highly difficult and easy to ruin a piece you spent a month on, but the end result makes up for the hellish process.
