I painted this in 2000 and recently sold it. It is a portrait of my ex from many moons ago. It is strange to let go of a piece of art you have grown to like and have grown used to having around. Onward and upward and the past is just a minor star...I have learned in art and life it is best to turn your collar to the cold- damp past and keep your eyes focused on the now.
