I am about to embark on a deep and detailed study and dissection of Raphael's School of Athens. I want to figure out the secrets behind the geometry and his grouping of figures. In the old master works (unlike modern art) nothing is haphazard..everything is placed according to geometry and accordance with natural and universal laws--thinks alex.
